Garden Gallery

First, the ground was broken and dug up to plot the new garden. Then, Fr. Jim and his team (seen here) put up the new fence to keep deer and other animals out.

Good dirt is important! Fr. Jim added quality compost to the plot of land and tilled it multiple times to integrate it and kill weeds before planting.

Now our vegetables are planted and growing! We have tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, lettuce, peas, squash, artichokes, and rhubarb! We’re looking forward to taking care of the space and harvesting the food!

A big thanks to all the volunteers who helped Fr. Jim with this massive overhaul of our garden!
