What time do I check in / check out?

  • Check-in time for Huston events is normally 4:00 PM
  • Check-out time for Huston events is normally 2:00 PM
  • Huston will email registrants 1-2 weeks prior to an event with details specific to that event.

When are meals served?

  • Huston’s family style meals (where all components of a meal are on the table; everyone serves themselves) are:
  • Breakfast 8:00 AM
  • Lunch 12:30 PM
  • Dinner 6:00 PM

What about dietary concerns?

  • When you register for a Huston event, you will fill out a form in which you can list any special dietary needs. Huston’s kitchen staff works hard to accommodate all dietary needs. Our kitchen serves all the food in one facility (ie, we don’t serve have peanuts-free or gluten-free designated area). If you’re concerned, feel free to contact Huston at info@huston.org.

Do you provide linens or do I bring my own?

  • Huston guests are given an option to bring their own bedding and towels. If you choose to use Huston’s linens, there is an additional fee.

Do I share a bathroom and a bedroom?

  • UPPER CAMPUS LODGES (PADDOCK/A, BARKER/B, KEATOR/C):
  • Each room has two twin beds. You choose either single or double occupancy when you register.
  • Every four rooms share one bathroom: 2 toilets, 2 sinks, 1 shower per bathroom
  • And each building has one common space (like a living room).
  • LOWER CAMPUS DORMS (ST CLARE, ST FRANCIS):
  • Each building has two bunk rooms. Each room sleeps 12 in bunk-style beds.
  • Each bunk room shares one bathroom which has 2 toilet stalls, 2 sinks, 1 shower.
  • And each building has one common space (like a living room).

What ADA accommodations are at Huston?

  • Huston has one bathroom in Curtis Lodge which accommodates a wheel chair, has access bars at toilet, and a walk in shower.
  • There are cement sidewalks between upper campus lodges and Curtis Hall where meals are served. Sidewalk is covered between Paddock/A and Curtis Hall; no steps.

Can I bring my pet?

  • Only registered service dogs are allowed at Huston events.
